Ayushman Bharat (PMJAY) Hospitals List India (2024)

About Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana

The Ayushman Bharat Yojana, newly called the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY), is a scheme that aims to give medical care to the economically underprivileged group of society. It is one of the most extensive healthcare programmes supported by the Indian government. Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched this programme to provide more than 50 crore Indians comprehensive healthcare. As per the statistics dated September 2019, more than 18000 hospitals are empanelled, and over 44 lacs beneficiaries are admitted under the scheme.

AB-PMJAY assists these households in obtaining the best healthcare treatments, including insurance coverage for pre and post-hospitalisation costs of up to INR 5 lakh for each family each year.

The programme aims to give cashless treatment under secondary and tertiary healthcare for the weaker section of society. The PMJAY beneficiaries receive an e-card that can be used to access services at any accredited public or private hospital in the nation.
