Founded in 1893, Café Savoy is the premier breakfast destination in Prague. This means getting a table won’t be easy without a reservation, especially on weekends, but the wait is worth it. The cafe’s seven-metre-high (22.9 feet) Neo-Renaissance ceiling, lined with beautiful chandeliers, offers a lovely setting for a leisurely meal. You can choose from a variety of traditional Czech cakes and pastries and Breakfast Savoy, a dish which comes with a selection of bread, butter and jam, cake, eggs and a ham sandwich, is a must-try.

At Pekárna Praktika, you can choose between spelt, rye and corn breads. They also serve croissants, vanilla cream-filled doughnuts, fruit tarts, eggs with toast and butter, and more. 7. Make new friends over coffee at Proti Proudu

Bistro, Snacks, Coffee

Inspired by Karlín-born electrical engineering innovator František Křižík, ‘current and connection’ is the theme of this family-friendly cafe in Prague.
